Joe Grassi is of-counsel with the firm. After a forty-year career as a litigator, Joe’s practice is limited in both time and scope. Early in his career Joe worked as a public defender and has returned to his roots as a criminal defense attorney.
In previous years Joe’s practice was varied. He was active with and served as President of the State’s premier plaintiff’s trial lawyer’s organization, the New Jersey Association for Justice from 2011 – 2012. He is also a past President of the South Jersey chapter of The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
- Mr. Grassi was active with the American Association of Justice, serving as chair in Civil Rights section.
- He remains active with the Cape May County Bar Association.
- Mr. Grassi is a lifetime native of Cape May County, where he raised his family and resides with his wife.
